Wearable resident monitoring solutions
Case Study: Pressure Ulcer Prevention
A long-term care home wanted to wirelessly monitor and improve internal turn management processes, and increase compliance to turn schedules.
Our solution, PosturePod, is a wireless, wearable device that monitors the posture, position and motion of residents in bed. It provides notifications to PSW and nurses if a resident is not repositioned on schedule. The device helps improve turn management processes in an effort to reduce pressure ulcer incidences.
